As to join for the BBA course, the procedure is similar to the procedure for B.Com and BA. These are basically graduation level courses. The course duration will depend on whether it is full time course or part time course. It will take minimum 3 years for both the types and for part timers the time available is a maximum of 5 years. The structure will be bi – semester each year. The aspirants will receive an insight on the basic for the various areas of management.

Admission Requirements to join the BBA Course

Normally there is no entrance exam for admission to this course. However there will be certain criterias to be fulfilled. They are

  • The citizenship criteria may vary. Some institute will insist for only Indian citizens and some allow others to also apply.
  • Only candidates who have cleared 12th standard need apply.
  • Admission will be on merit basis.
  • Minimum of 55% will be a must.
  • Minimum age normally is 17 years. Some colleges do keep a maximum limit of 25 years.

Application form for the BBA Course

The following information will be required in most forms:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Permanent Address
  • Current Address
  • Telephone Number
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID
  • Education Qualification (information about the 10th and 12th School, Name of the Board and Marks secured will need to be mentioned)
  • Extra curricular certificates (State level and National level Participation)
  • Caste (General, OBC, SC/ST etc)
  • Physical Disabilities if any
  • Domicile of the state
  • Family Income
  • Parents Qualification
  • Parent Signature

Documents required for admission to the BBA Course

All the information regarding to the documents to be attached will be mentioned in the prospectus. Also it will be mentioned in the general instruction category. Only copies will need to be attached. If a original is attached the institute will not be responsible for it. Also the candidate should make sure to get the documents attested only by authorized candidates.

  • 2 Photos
  • Education Qualification (Both 10th & 12th standard)
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Extra-curriculum Certificates
  • Certificate of Caste if belonging to the SC/ST or OBC category
  • Physical Disability certificate by authorized Medical Officer
  • Domicile Certificate etc

Cancellation of Admission

Like other course cancellation from the course will be allowed only if the reason specified is genuine. Also only the tuition fees will be refunded. This will depend when the cancellation takes place too.
