No, you can't apply for IPS or civil services based on your diploma qualification. You need a graduation degree in any discipline to become eligible for IPS or civil services exam.

Therefore, if you have only diploma at the moment, then you need to go for admission in a degree programme. After completion you can apply for the exam.

No, Diploma candidates are not eligible to apply for Civil Services or IPS recruitment's. The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in Civil Services based recruitment's is "Graduation" or Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.

Diploma course is not equivalent to Graduation and with which you are not at all eligible to apply. I suggest you to pursue B.E/ B.Tech after completion of Diploma course in order to be eligible after Graduation. You are required to appear in CSAT (Civil services Aptitude Test) which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

No, you are not eligible to apply for IPS examination on basis of Diploma course. The minimum educational qualification required to apply for IPS examination is completion of Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a recognized university. So, you need to study Diploma and then, Bachelor's degree course from a recognized university to be eligible to apply for IPS examination.

No, diploma candidates are not eligible for Civil Service exam.

Those candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible for Civil Service exam. This exam doesn't require any percentage marks in graduation degree.

Age Criteria:

For General: 21 to 32 years
For OBC: 21 to 35 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 37 years

So you can apply for B.Tech or B.E course. After completion of this course you are eligible for Civil Services exam.
