I would like to states that, in these civil services exam ,conducted by UPSC ,marks are not required,. you just have to complete the minimum educational qualification needed for this exam. the minimum educational qualification needed is graduation from a recognized college. the age limit- 21-30 years for general candidates. 21-33 years for OBC candidates. 21-35 years for SC\ST candidates. NO . of attempts- 4 for general candidates. 7 for OBC candidates no limit for SC\ST candidates. thanks!! |

Yes , 100% Physical fitness is necessary while the selection process for an IPS Officer . You should be physically fit in terms of eyesight i.e 6/6 , blood tests ,height wise and it varies between male and female ,chest width , weight of the candidate and many other things are also involved while in Physical test of a candidate. And the most important thing is that you should be 21 years of old, and be citizen of India. So, in this way many formalities and test are there ,where all the candidates have to pass through and clear out the test . Thanks |

You want to serve the nation which is really appreciable....But you are not eligible for this civil service examination, which is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC].. As you just have passed 10th, The minimum educational qualification needed for appear in this examination, you must have at least graduation degree from a recognized college. So, you are not eligible yet.. The age limit for this examination is .21-30 years, there are 5 & 3 years of the age relaxations are applicable for the SC\ST & OBC candidates respectively...... IPS (Indian Police Service) exam is conducted by the UPSC once in a year. The minimum educational qualification is graduation so you are not eligible to apply IPS exam. Eligibility criteria: The candidate should be complete graduation from any recognised university. Final year candidates also eligible to apply. Age limits is 21 years to 30years. The candidate should be a citizen of india. Selection procedure; Preliminary exam, Main exam, Interview. civils exam is conducted by UPSC. It will have three rounds
1. CSAT(written exam) 2. MAINS(descriptivetest) 3. INTERVIEW Aspirants should first decide on optional subjects like zoology,political science etc. CSAT exam consists of quantitative aptitude,general knowledge, scio economics and bits on optional. Mains exam is a descriptive one you should write essays on given questions. after clearing these two exams you can be called for the interview. aspirants can join in coaching institutes so that preparation will be easy by study material provided by the institute. To appear in this exam you should have Graduation degree from a recognized university. So, i suggest you first complete your graduation course and then apply for it.

First you have to complete your graduation. You can complete your bachelors degree in any stream.Then Of course you can appear for Indian Police Service(IPS). To join IPS one must clear the civil service examination organised by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). The eligibility criteria for this exam is bachelors degree in any stream from any UGC recognised university. The age limit is 21-30 years and a relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. So after completion of bachelors you can appear forcivil service exam to become an IPS officer. The eligible candidate aspiring for IPS Civil Service Exam, must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness. Apart from this the candidate should maintain the minimum Physical requirements such as:- HEIGHT:- General Male-165cm and Female-150cm whikle SC/ST Male-160cm and Female-145cm. CHEST:- Male-85cm while Female-79cm expandable to 5cm in both the cases. The civil Service exam can be applied through both off line and on line mode by paying requisite fee for the exam. Preliminary Exam 2. Main Examination 3. Interview Test 1. Preliminary Exam - This is an objective type questions based test which if the candidate passes, qualifies tothe second phase. 2. i am sorry to say that their is no procedure for a person to crack ips with just 10th standard qualifications. First of all complete your graduation with minimum of 55% marks. From now you can do one thing is that just select right subjects of your choice for your intermediate,graduation and have that same subject in your ips exam. The acronym for IPS is Indian Police Services. First of all, I would like to tell you that now, at present time, you cannot give IPS examination. To join IPS, contenders have to crack the civil services examination, which is conducted every year by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). The eligibility criteria required for the IPS examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in any track from any accredited college or university. * Percentage criteria is not required. * Final year contenders are also eligible. * Age limit:- 21-30 yrs. * Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contenders. * No. of attempts:- 4 for General, 7 for OBC and no limits for SC/ST contenders. * Nationality:- Indian. * Physically and mentally fit. |

IPS(Indian Police Service) exams are conducted by UPSC every year.
To become IPS officer you need to complete your studies i.e. after 10th complete 11th & 12th,then complete Graduation from a recognized university. Minimum qualification required to appear for IPS exams is Graduation from a recognized university. You need focused study of subjects. You should analyze the syllabus, and hard work is needed to crack this examination. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Educational Qualifications for IPS : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
