Iam doing my 2pu science now... Which stream (after pu 2) would be easy for me to become IPS officer?

Which stream (after pu 2) would be easy for me to become IPS officer?

For IPS graduation is required and you can choose any field for graduation of your interest..

And can choose the same subject for IPS CSAT exam..
So, i suggest to go for the field of your interest rather than field of easy...

Minimum education criteria = Graduate
also Candidates appearing for Degree qualification are also eligible for appearing in the examination, however, they are supposed to submit proof of passing the requisite qualification along with with Detailed Application Form for Civil Services (Main) Examination.

He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing

CSAT consits of two paper and each paper of Two hrs..


(Paper 1) (200 marks) consists of

• Current events.
• History
• Geography
• Indian Polity and governance
• Economic and social development
• and General science.

It is of purely objective type and qualifying exam...

(Paper II) (200 marks)

• Comprehension
• Logical reasoning and analytical ability
• Decision making and problem solving
• General mental ability
• Basic numeracy(Class X level)
• English language comprehension skills (Class X level)

It is of purely subjective type and followed by interview....

IAS AND IPS are the most prestigious jobs in our nation
after plus two 12th you can go for engineering with mechanical branch or
BA.BA IS MORE PREFREAABLE AS THE PAPERS OF IPS ENTRANCE EXAM ARE MORE RELATED

The educational qualification to appear in IPS exam conducted by UPSC-
*Graduation from affiliated institute with any stream.
*Age limit-21-30 yr. As on 1st july of the exam year.
There is Age Relaxation for reserve category.
~Listen,'you can Qualify CSAT by choosing any stream,But the Principal should be Effort and your Will Power'.So,NO matter whether you opt for Engineering,Medical, Art or Commerce to Qualify Graduation,the all that need is your effort.
Although for Mains you are not bounded to opt the same subject of your Graduation.You can opt any two optionoal subjects from subject list normed by UPSC.

it would be better to go for degree in which subject you are familiar with then you can choose that subject for your ips exam

For applying in IPS CSAT exam you must have to graduate.

You must do B.Tech in civil engineering

IPS-INDIAN POLICE SERVICE, To become an IPS officer the minimum qualification is graduation from any stream.
Eligibility criteria:

Graduation from any recognised university.

The age must be 21 to 30years

is it important to do only civil engineering after passing 12th ? i m science student
