Exam Pattern for the Aeronautical Engineering Exam

Graduate level

The paper has 2 parts.

  • Paper I - This has a period of 3 hours
  • Paper II - This has a period of 3 hours

Both these papers shall have 2 separate sections on Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. The questions posed in these papers shall be of the objective nature. The answers are given the full marks if answered correctly and negative marks are given if answered incorrectly.

Postgraduate level

This paper will carry a total of 150 questions and is divided into 3 separate parts.

  • Part I - here 20 questions shall be asked and each shall hold one mark
  • Part II - here 55 questions shall be asked and each shall hold 2 marks
  • Part III - here 10 questions shall be asked and each shall hold 2 marks

Multiple choices shall be given to all questions and out of this only one option will be correct. In the evaluation of this paper, negative marking is adopted.

How to Procure Applications for the Aeronautical Engineering Course?

Admission forms for these examinations can be got by the offline or online modes. Official websites of these institutions shall make the form available and the exam counters of these institutions shall also issue the form. The price of the forms shall show a variation from one college to the next. The AIEEE admission form is available at the price of Rs. 500/-. The price of the GATE admission form is available at the price of Rs. 1000/- for students of the general category and Rs.500/- for the other categories. If it is taken through the online mode, the price of the form will be Rs.600/- for the general category and Rs.400/- for others.

    i am a diploma mechanical student passe out this year, i worried about my future but my age is become a problem of me.ok,i want to higher study in aeronautical or mechanical field. so please give me any ideas i cant attend any entrance exam because my age now 29 yrs. so is there any college give any chance….give details
