PhD in Comparative Literature
The course is entirely related to the overall comparative study of different linguistics language that belongs to one or two nations or even on a larger context of cultural groups that is purely based on the literature point of view. The course also covers illumination of different works as well as arts that belongs to specific point in literature based history. The course also lays stress on the research based aspects in different comparison along with detailed study of various Victorian period poems as well as literary work.
Eligibility:
The candidates that are interested in undertaking the course of PhD in Comparative Literature have to attain a minimum of 55% in their master level course belonging from any of the discipline. The candidates also have to attain a minimum of 50% in their Bachelor level degree. Most of the Institutes except these cut off as the final layer through which candidates can apply for the course.

The overall duration of the course is four to five years. However the exact duration is seldom defined because the type of thesis in which the candidate is undertaken their PhD depends on different factors.
