Procedure to pursue higher studies in India and abroad
Those who want to pursue M.E/M.Tech course in India should first of all qualify the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Admission will be based on the GATE score obtained by the aspirants. Apart from GATE score, minimum of 60% marks is required for the B.E/B.Tech course too. Certain universities like Visvesvaraya Technological University demand minimum of 50% marks for the B.E/B.Tech course. It is also possible for aspirants to seek admission through postgraduate entrance tests like Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) and Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).
Minimum of 50% marks is required for the B.E/B.Tech course to pursue Master of Business Administration in India. Aspirants can get admission through entrance tests like Common Admission Test (CAT), Xavier Admission Test (XAT), Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) etc.
In order to get admission into the Post Graduate Advance Diploma course in Biomedical Science and Basic Clinical Research after B.E in Biomedical Engineering, one should obtain minimum of 55% marks during graduation. They should also qualify the entrance test conducted by the concerned institute.
If the candidates are interested to pursue MS/M.E program in foreign countries, then they should qualify the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Valid score in Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is also necessary for getting admission to MS/ME program.
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score is considered for the admission to MBA program in foreign countries. Minimum score required for admission to MBA program in Biomedical Enterprise is 550 for paper-based test, 213 for computer-based test or 80 for internet test. Also, minimum score of 7.0 is required for IELTS.
