Executive Branch Officers, Indian Navy
Indian navy is one of the wings of our defence. It has been protecting our mother land from a very long time. It is one of the most responsible units of our defence. It is respected for its enthusiastic and commendable work.
Job profile: The officers will be required to serve the country and work in the executive branches for general service in the Indian Navy. The candidates will be required to prepare reports, metrological and logistic work etc.
Eligibility: A candidate must be between the age of 19 and 25 years and a candidate must have a minimum height of 157 cms with correlated weight and 6/6 vision (can be correctable with glasses).
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a B.Sc in physics or maths OR a B.E/B.TECH in any stream OR P.G in maths or operational research & analysis with a minimum of 55% from a recognized university.
No. of posts: The no. of posts is not specified but the selection for a deserving candidate is confirmed.
Pay scale: An officer will be given an initial pay scale of Rs15600-39100 + a grade pay of Rs5400 + a military pay of Rs6000 + other usual allowances.
Selection process: The candidates will be called for a SSB interview followed by a medical test for the recommended students.
How to apply: The candidates have to apply as per the application format given in the advertisement or on the website. The candidates must send the attested copies of their age proof, semester mark sheets and caste certificate. The envelopes must be super scribed with “Application for SSC (GS) “X”- JULY 2010 Course, Qualification and Percentage” The applications must be sent to Post Bag No. 04, R.K.Puram PO (main) New Delhi-110066. The applications must be sent by ordinary post.
The last date for the receipt of applications is 3rd October 2009.
