i have 64% marks in 10th and 65% marks in 12th. and i have 75% marks in my btch.
but i have 1 year gap after 10th and 2 years of gap after 12th. so total i have 3 year of gap. so in which company i m eligible for.

sir myself Rajesh i am doing B.E. in computer Tech.I got 61% in 10th,49.33 in 12th so i have done diploma in computer engg and got 68%.Now i am in engg 7th sem and till now my aggregate is 57%.And i m quit sure that i will make it to 60% at the end of 8th sem.But i want to ask is there any company which look for diploma percentage rather than 12th percentage.

dont get tensed and worried about this issue

because not at all companies will keep a cut off

only the companies which will have huge competition will keep a cutoff of 65 or 70

so friend don't need to worry at all

first gain experience by joining in any one of the companies

then you can automatically get a good job further

Better u join any institutes which offer placements there they wont ask percentage for few companies........

Dear sir i am a student of B.tech Computer Science (Final Year) and i am doing it from Bundelkhand University, mine is not a good institute so no chances of an On Campus.
I have secured 74.6% in 10th and 73.9% in my B.tech till 3rd yr, bt the problem is i got only 58% in 12th.
Kindly tell me what are my chances to get a job in a good s\w company.

sir my 10th % is 55.66% and my 12 % is 61% and now i m pursuing b.tech 4th year till now i have 62%.so i will get a job in any MNC companies..

every company have some kind of criteria . of course if you have extraordinary talent than marks does not matter.

As i know all the companies fixed some minimum percentage criteria for job. and in my knowledge there is no company in which no minimum percentage criteria for job.

Most of the IT related MNC demand 60% overall aggregate with a great technical knowledge...

Following Companies required minimum percentage criteria for recruitment i.e. 1. BPOs 2. Hotel Management 3. Event Management 4. Marketing Sector etc.

In above sectors criteria is minimum but you can get jobs in above companies through entrance exam only and with handsome salary.

In many private companies qualification & knowledge is required, not percentage.

sir,i hav 75.12% in 10th , 53.4% in 12th and 7.125 in b.tech(till 6th sem).my 12th marks is poor but i hav a huge knowledge in C,java n software engineering.so is der any software company who hav the criteria of 50% or hire in base of direct interview.plz rply .

Microsoft dont put any criteria ...no percentage nothing..

there are dozens of JOB OPENINGS in microsoft in the software development/engnr category but the competition is huge...(you can check thr official site)...even the college drop outs can apply thr but they need to be exceptionally talented..

u have messed up yr college percentage ,,,to get through you have to work hard and get through this microsoft entrance competition..

I think all of the good companies have 60 % minimum requirement, so its better if you apply for GATE.

for off campus every company needs at least of 60%
and no criteria actually means a person having aggregate between 50-55%.

you will be happy to know that there are many company which recruit students on the basis of no criteria even in my college this time there is around 30 to 40 companies came at no criteria .generally small companies where development rate is more come at no criteria but they wont offer you much salary but you ll definitely learn many things there and then later you can switch to big companies

hello friend...

Most of the top IT companies have their eligibility criteria as 60 % above, as you have 54 % in 10th it will be tough to attend some of the good companies... but there are many small companies with good pay which sees only your performance and not the marks... join those companies get some experience and then jump into big companies... to select job interviews which matches your profileCLICK HERE!!!...

The Criteria for most of the companies for placements is

60% throughout career.
1/2 years year gap
and No current backlogs.

Secondly to everybody reading this FORUM "MOST IT COMPANIES TODAY NEEDS 60% ND ABOVE IN 10 AND 12, 60% FOR UR BACHELORS OR MASTERS (IF YOU ARE A FRESHER)"... If the tag of fresher is removed once with sufficient amount of work done (LEAST 1 YEAR) then BIG COMPANIES in IT FIELD ""may"" consider your C.V. dependind on some parameters.
